Securing your dates.

Once you have checked the availability calendar and wish to book we just need to take a £200 deposit payment in order to secure your dates. Payments, including payments from outside the UK, can be made via PayPal to markvedwards@blueyonder.co.uk This is an ideal method for payment of the initial deposit as it is instant and reduces the risk of your dates being taken by someone else.

Payments can also be made by cheque (payable to Goldcrest International), by credit card (please ring), by bank transfer (please email for details). We can also accept payments in euros or US $ if required and please enquire. A booking confirmation showing payment, dates etc. will be emailed as soon as your cleared payment has been received.

Payment of the rental charge

For bookings more than 16 weeks in advance the rental charge is due 16 weeks before the arrival date and this will be clearly shown on your booking confirmation. If the rental period commences within 16 weeks the rental charge is due within 14 days (full payment is due with the deposit if within 14 days). The initial deposit is retained as a refundable damage bond and is returned upon request minimum 7 days after departure.


If the rental payment is not received as outlined above the reservation may be cancelled with loss of deposit although we will usually issue a payment reminder. All cancellations must be made in writing or by email. Please note that the following terms and charges will apply. At least 16 weeks prior to arrival a full refund will be made of any rental payment paid. Within 16 weeks of arrival the applicant is liable for the full cost of the holiday. If, however, the owner is successful in re-letting the property for some or all of the same period they shall return the rent paid for the period which has been re-let, less any costs necessarily incurred to re-let the property e.g. advertising, discount, administration.  No assurances can be offered that this will be so, therefore, holiday insurance is strongly recommended. Upon cancellation the initial deposit payment is retained but a 50% refund will be made if alternative dates are booked. All bookings are accepted in good faith but in the event of the property becoming unavailable, through fire, other natural disaster, or for any other reason the tenancy is automatically cancelled or ended and the owner will refund all monies paid, or if the letting has commenced, proportionately any part of the rent for any period for which the property cannot be used.  In no event shall the liability of the owner to the rentor exceed the rental paid for the property.

Booking Procedure

General terms

This agreement is made on the basis that the house is to be occupied for a holiday for a specified period.  It is a contract between the house owner and the tenant/applicant (named on the booking application).  The tenant must be over 21 years of age; will have responsibility for the property and must have the authority to ensure that all members of the party observe these booking conditions. Payment of the rental deposit is taken as acceptance of the booking procedure and terms and conditions. Smoking. For the benefit of non smoking guests the owners ask that you respect the no smoking policy in the house or pool enclosure. Please confine any smoking to outside the property.

Guests. The number of guests permitted to stay in the property shall not exceed 12 people. Pets. Pets are allowed by prior agreement only and on the strict understanding there is no sign of them having been at the property at departure for the benefit of the next guests. Times and Duration of Letting. Rentals commence at 4.00pm on the day of arrival to 10.00am on the day of departure.  It is important that these times are adhered to so that the accommodation can be properly prepared for you and subsequent tenants. Property Information Folder. An information folder is provided in the property with important information about the property and local services. Rentor’s obligations. The rentor agrees to:take good care of the property during occupation maintaining all furniture, fixtures, fittings  and effects in the same state of repair as at the commencement of the holiday;use the property and its contents in a safe and appropriate manner;read instruction booklets before use of appliances;keep the property secure and lock (where locks exist) all windows and doors whenever the property is left unoccupied and comply with security and safety precautions;not to use the property or any part of it for any of the following, nor allow anyone else to do so: activities which are dangerous, offensive, noxious, noisome, illegal or immoral, or which are or may become a nuisance or annoyance to the owner, or to the owner or occupier of any neighbouring property; Not to act in any way which will or may result in the insurance of the property being void or void able, or in the premium for the insurance being increased, nor allow anyone else to do so; leave the property in the same state of cleanliness and general order in which it was  found; (an additional cost will otherwise be incurred to cover the extra cleaning) report any damage or breakage immediately to the local manager; pay the costs arising from any breakages, damage to furniture or fittings, removal of any  items from the property, damage to the exterior of the property including any damage to neighbours property; not make any noise at the property which is audible from outside it between 11pm and 7 am; place refuse, surplus food and unwanted articles in bin liners inserted in the waste bin provided and, if full, to dispose of the contents of the bins in the refuse container at the beach and to replace disposed of bin liners with fresh empty ones; not drop any litter in the roadways, paths or parking areas; use only the designated parking space/s on the driveway; not block the waste pipes and drains; not tamper with the electrical, water or sewage services, pipes or equipment. Damages and Breakages The £200 damage bond will be refunded in full by the owner - upon request minimum 7 days after the end of the letting period - providing an inspection of the property reveals all to be in good order.  Should this not be the case, the cost of any damages or breakages will be paid for from this bond and the remainder refunded.  Any damages incurring costs over and above the £200 damage bond will be invoiced with payment required immediately by return. Reasonable Access. The owner and their representative retain the right to enter the property at any time. Problems or Complaints. In the event of there being any problems or deficiencies with the accommodation or contents the matter should be reported to the local management company at once. Prompt notification by the tenant is required to enable remedial action to be taken.  No complaints will be accepted or correspondence entered into where complaints are made at the end of a tenancy that have not been reported on the next working day following discovery. Liability. The owner cannot accept any liability for: any injury sustained by any person; loss of, or damage, to any property brought onto the premises; cars, which are parked at owners risk noise, nuisance or disturbance resulting from building works, noisy neighbours or local events etc. disruption of service from utility suppliers, closure of shops or amenities described in the property details, failure of any equipment or apparatus or any problems arising from weather conditions. Breaking the Terms and Conditions. The owner reserves the right to terminate the tenancy, without refund, if there shall be a breach of any of these conditions. This is without prejudice to any of the other rights and remedies available to the owner. Law and jurisdiction. These Terms and Conditions are governed by law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any claim arising from, or related to, a rental booking (although we retain the right to bring proceedings against you for breach of these terms in your country of residence or any other relevant country). You agree to comply with all applicable laws, statutes and regulations concerning your use of our rental property. Each and every booking is deemed to be completed within the United Kingdom and therefore shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the law of England and Wales. Events beyond our control. We will not be in breach of these Terms and Conditions, or otherwise liable for any failure or delay in performance, arising from any circumstances beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation, strikes, lock-outs and other industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or network access, flood, fire, explosion or accident. Invalidity. If a provision of these Terms of Use (or part of any provision) is found illegal, invalid or unenforceable, the enforceability of any other part of these Terms of Use will not be affected. Variations. We may revise these Terms of Use at any time by amending this page.

Repeat bookings
We can usually offer a discount for repeat bookings (including our Orlando Disney Villas with Pool & Spa less than 10 minutes from the Disney entrance). Please identify yourself as a returning guest when making your enquiry and we will endeavour to offer you a special deal.

Bedding and towels

For your convenience one full set of bedding and towels are provided for the number of guests and you are welcome to launder these during your stay using the equipment provided or bring your own. On the morning of departure please place all bedding and towels in the kitchen ready for laundry and complete any washing up.
